Just recently I was looking at Wikipedia Encyclopedia at cities nicknames when I came across cities that are compared to Paris. The list plentiful, but here are few I find interesting

Paris of the Caribbean - Havana, Cuba
Paris of North America - Montreal, Quebec
Paris of the Midwest - Detroit, Michigan
