Merry Christmas

To My Democratic Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. N ot to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

To My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Surpplies!!!!

If you haven’t ever seen UHF, I highly recommend this movie. Especially if your in the mood for a movie where the jokes are so bad/stupid that they are hilarious. UHF was not going to be the subject of the post, but for those who have not seen the movie the subject of this post will be confusing. There is a point in the movie where the bad guys hear a noise, upon searching for source they go to open the “Supplies” (sign on the door) closet. As they open the door one of the good guys with a Chinese accent, says “Surpplies”, before the butt kicking begins.

Now to the subject at hand, during Shell’s first ultrasound the tech noted that she 90% sure that the baby was girl. So we have been planning according with buying clothes and decorating the nursery. Also most the gifts have been in mind of us expecting a girl. Well you probably see where I’m going with this. Our new son was born November 27, 2007. Even though the day of the birth was not the surprise. The day before, during another ultra sound verified the surprise.

Now decorating the nursery was not that big of deal, since the chosen colors were green and purple. Purple is not the most manly color, but it is better than pink like the majority of his cloths hanging in the closet. I believe I read somewhere babies cannot see color for the first few months, so I have some time to paint the room again. Even if this not the case, I’m sure he will not remember.
